Pretty devastating for both cars, but I assume the point is that the dashboard and steering wheel of the Malibu don't go anywhere, while the passenger compartment of the Bel Air is severely compromised.
I like the fuzzy dice hanging from the '59's mirror. Nice subtle touch.
