I don't know if screaming "Oh God, oh God, oh God!" all the way down each straight is the correct and approved technique, but I think he appreciated the experience.
What struck me there was how unenthused the mechanics apparently were be about it--sauntering about and looking impatient and trying to seem busy until they could uncover their ears and start packing stuff up and loading the trucks.
